Yesterday we looked at the comparison made in Hebrews 12 between Jesus’ blood and the blood of Abel. You can listen to the rest below, but the main thing for us to understand is that Abel’s blood calls for justice, while Jesus blood calls for mercy. I know that in the final analysis, I hope God listens to the blood of Jesus and the words it speaks on my behalf. I prefer mercy to justice.
